Introduction

We are a team of 5 students on a mission to spread awareness and educate the public about poverty which is a key strategy in ending it, as it helps inform and bring together people to achieve the goal of eliminating global poverty.

This research based learning nourished our cooperative skills and made us adopt a more empathetic perspective on the crisis as it broadened our understanding on the severity of this issue.

Poverty is the state of being poor. Nobody wants to be poor. So why is it that some people can not afford their needs while others can pay for luxuries and wants? Is there anything the governments can do to distribute the money equally to help the poor? What are some of the actions individuals can take to help reduce poverty?

In this blog we will answer the above questions and suggest ways in which the community or society can participate in supporting the poor.
