COVID-19's Impact

 

COVID-19 has worsened the situation of people in poverty. It has caused them to be at an added disadvantage as they do not have enough funds to live in sanitary conditions nor afford medical procedures which is the epitome of security from COVID_19.  

This chart shows the level of poverty in different countries and how it changed due to the Covid outbreaks in each country. India faced a Covid outbreak and so did Nigeria, but due to the population density the growth in people in poverty was much higher in India than in Nigeria and that meant India took over Nigeria as the country with the highest number of people in poverty
